Profile
Jessica is a graduate of the University of South Florida where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree and completed the 5th Year Requirement. Her career began as an auditor with CBIZ MHM Tampa Bay (formerly Lewis, Birch and Ricardo, LLC), a public accounting firm. After spending seven years auditing nonprofit organizations, Jessica left as an audit manager and became Chief Financial Officer of CASA, Inc. (Community Action Stops Abuse) a nonprofit organization. In 2006, she left CASA, Inc. to begin her own consulting firm which specializes in providing accounting services to nonprofit organizations in the Tampa Bay area.
Jessica has also spent time as an instructor with the University of South Florida’s Continuing Education – Professional and Workforce Development, member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a past finance chair for St. Lawrence Catholic Church and School, a past member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants Women's Leadership Committee, was the 2008 Chairman of the Board of the Accounting Circle (Partnership to Support the School of Accountancy at the University of South Florida).
